The rooms were clean and spacious, and the beds were firm and comfortable. The location was convenient and easily accessible from the main highway. Having kitchen facilities in the room was a bonus, as it allowed us to save money by preparing our own meals.

The road noise from passing trucks was a bit bothersome, especially on a downhill grade. It was a minor inconvenience that diminished as traffic decreased later in the night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this luxurious hotel. The beds were incredibly comfortable, allowing us to have a great night's sleep. The room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. The kitchen facilities were a huge bonus for us, as we love to cook our own meals while traveling. It saved us on dining out and added convenience to our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They even cleaned our rooms and replaced the towels after our first night, despite us only staying for another night. The location was perfect for us, as it was close to the hospital we were visiting and provided easy parking right outside our door. we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

This place comes highly recommended to family and friends.

I had a fantastic stay here. Customer service was amazing, with friendly and lovely staff. The beds were comfortable and the kitchens and bathrooms were neat. I was able to book exactly what I wanted, two studios, which was perfect for my needs. The spa pool was a favorite of mine, and my daughter and her cousins had a great time at the swimming pools. everything was exactly as I expected and I would definitely come back.

Very close to busy main highway and very noisy (in site of fact that told hush glass was fitted. It may well have been, but close proximity to main highway and number of trucks meant that it made little difference). Beds very soft and poor quality mattresses made them uncomfortable. No blankets, just duvet - which was too hot.

The location of the lodge is convenient, with supermarkets and food options nearby. the staff are friendly and provided helpful information about the area, including maps. Some rooms come with a fan, which is appreciated. the lodge offers a pay for 6, stay 7 arrangement with other motels throughout New Zealand.

The bathroom could benefit from an extractor fan to prevent steam build-up.

Not the most luxurious but a nice tidy and friendly place to stay - I would definately consider staying again when I am back in Whangarei
